Where is mecca, if you have questions is the title of an entertaining presentation in the evening of Saturday May 9th in Washington DC. If you plan to attend some serious conferences by KNCNA, you have the opportunity to relax and enjoy this unique power point presentation that is filled with stimulating ideas and images.
This show is independent from the conferences, starts after 8pm, and is intended to be food for mind. It is open to those who have already had food for their body, so they don’t have to worry about what or when to eat. The idea behind the show is based on the fact that entertainment and critical thinking has a significant impact on policy makers to make better policies.
As dreamers and fresh of the boat immigrants we knew our own policy makers couldn’t make satisfactory policies and so we chose immigration to Diaspora, where free speech is lawful. Upon arrival to the land of opportunity, we might assume the natives don't know much about our world. To test our questionable assumption in our land of opportunity you may join us and enjoy this satirical show which covers topics such as election, affection, attraction, regression, and aggression. If you are interested to learn how these topics might be related, you have the opportunity to ask questions during the presentation.
Five voluntary contestants will be chosen to participate in the match including one American and four English speaking fresh of the boat immigrants from different parts of a divided homeland.
A $50.00 donation is expected from all attendees. However, you are entitled to receive 50% or $25.00 discount, if you purchase a ticket for the cultural banquet of KNCNA on Saturday May 10, 2008. Everyone is encouraged to participate as contestant or attendee in this humorous, stimulating, and relaxing Satire. The winner on Friday will receive five tickets with a total value $275.00 for the banquet on Saturday.
The show starts after 8.00 pm on Friday May 9th, 2008 at Holiday Inn Capitol, 550 C Street, SW, Washington DC 20024. Updated information can be found at: www.art-in-mind.org . For reservation and question please contact: may908@art-in-mind.org .
