The modern youth of our nation needs to rise from sitting behind the doors of impossible

There is no doubt that every Kurd has dreamed of one thing above all others, and that one thing is to enjoy the fruitfulness of being an Independent country that offers us all the chance to live our lives to the fullest. It is time for our people to live in peace, it's time for us to free our souls from the cage of uneducated minds and start to live and fight for our nation and our recognition. It is time for our youth to
stop any injustice before us and band together to bring strength, independence,
rapture and so much more to our people with their knowledge and capabilities.
To understand the heart of my topic is to understand the very essence of humanity. My goal is to enlighten our vision, to see the whole world with an ethical way of mind and to love others for whom they are. Only then will we find the practical understanding of why most of us need to stop sitting behind the doors labeled "impossible" while others ignore the fact of our Kurdish existence. My journey to understanding our people and the rest of the humanity has been a great adventure, but sometimes almost impossible.
Today, the hopelessness of been a Kurd seems to be the most prominent thought of Kurdish Youth. There is no doubt in the mind of anyone who knows the Kurds that we have been through a lot of unjust and sufferings much of it in the
hands of the Turks, Arabs and Persians. What we need to do is not to seek
revenge, but to get up and be active as one youthful nation and stop hiding and sitting in a dark room with an empty mind waiting for others to come and light our homes. How long are we going to sit there and wait for others to do something for us? How long are we not going to speak for ourselves? How long are we going to use the old ideas to build new generations? How long are we going to wait to suffer more at the hands of other nations? What should we do to bring this nation together and let out people being to enjoy their fruitful life in peace?
Through out history we have fought against tyranny and for our independence
and freedom. It is for sure, that freedom and independence are our number one goals to achieve in this life. It is unfair that others ignore the Kurdish existence and look down on us with raised noses and superiority. There is only one way for us to be recognized as an intelligent race and be acknowledged as a people, and that is through peaceful dialogue with those who oppress us and also by letting the whole world know, that we deserve the freedom that other people have, in this world, just as much as they do. We need to make them realize that they can not deny our existence, and no one, no matter who they are, can take away the freedom that has been given to all human beings by The Creator of all things great and small.
Despite the weakening of the Kurds' cultural traditions during the past century and a half, it is the old ideas and attitudes that seem to continue to exert their influence on our actions. The modern youth of our Nation need to rise from sitting behind the doors of impossible. The best way to lead our nation is to educate our people in the best way possible and to have them seek knowledge so that they can broaden their horizon and thing themselves. It is never too late to teach others about our geography, history, culture and our social institutions. The most important thing our youth can do for our nation and for our future benefit is to work together and let the whole world know about whom we are and what we have been through and what we want for our future. Yes, we have suffered for so long under different tyrannies, and we have been through so many difficulties, however, those past suffering can be the source of our awakening, patience, balance, deepening wisdom, and compassion for generations to come and maybe this will help us achieve our goal of an independent country.
