This question is the title of a power point quiz show on Friday night May 9th 2008 after 8pm at Holiday Inn Capitol located at 550 C Street, SW, Washington DC 20024.
The show is field with ideas and images and is intended to be humorous yet thought provoking moderated. Most questions fit in to five related categories. The questions cover topics such as where immigrants are welcomed, whom should they thank, does influence make a difference in life, what do some leaders enjoy, what attracts West to the East, how scientists and toy makers help their leaders, and what is the role of secularism, democracy, tradition, race, identity, gender, warriors, politicians, ideology, threats, violence, pacifism, beauty, love, faith, choice, unity, tolerance, hope, dreams, life, death, liberty, state, independence, and individuality in this information age.
If you have some ideas, opinions, and data about any of these themes, you are most welcome to join us and participate as a contestant or attendee. To enter the hall everyone must obtain a ticket. The ticket is $50.00 and will go to the funding of another cultural event the next evening. Those who attend both events will receive $25.00 discount for the first event. Five immigrants and one American will be chosen as contestants. The winner of the quiz show will receive five tickets for next evening with a total value of $275.00.
