The Turkish PM, Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Racist Request in Germany! - By Dana Berzinjy

I was watching the News on a Kurdish Channel in Sydney (KT), on Saturday 27th March 2010, at about 2 pm and I saw, the Turkish Prime Minister in his Visit to Germany asked the German Government to open Schools and universities for the Turkish Citizens in Their Native Language in Germany, but he does not grant the same right to the Kurdish Indigenous People in their Homeland (South of Kurdistan) Kurdistan of Turkey.

The Turks originally came from Mongolia /China and occupied our Homeland Kurdistan. They have been in our land for almost 700 years, and they have taken all rights from our people. They have stolen our culture; generations, history; resources and they have been changing the names of our cities, country towns, villages and our historical places and heritage. The names that were changed that still exist in the Holy Bible. This is the best evidence that the Kurds can prove the Turkish aggressive intention which was to wipe out our identity in our Homeland and their purposes are to control and equip our land forever and to make their own by using false names and to change our historical names. They have been murdering our generations for so many years without stopping their racist intentions. They destroyed our country in the past up until now and in 1991, the Turkish Racist Government ruined more than 5000 villages and made more than 4 million Kurds homeless to other cities in Turkey such as Istanbul, Ankara, and hundreds of thousands Kurds escaped to the neighbouring countries and to Europe.

When the Roman Empire fell n 1453, then, the Ottoman Empire started the invasions of tribal Kurdish kingdoms in Kurdistan. The Treaty of Sevres (1920), buried the Ottoman Empire, and approved to create an autonomous Kurdish state. But Dictator Kemal Ataturk, breached the Treaty of Sevres, and the new Treaty did avoid the creation of a Kurdish state. Then later on a revolt led by the Kurdish in Turkey in 1925 and 1930 and then later (1937–38) were forcibly put to end by the Turkish Army, and the Turks used aerial bombardment, poison gas and weaponry shelling of Kurdish strongholds then resulted in the murder of many thousands of Turkey's Kurds.

In 1880, the last Kurdish kingdom collapsed and the Kurds revolted against the Ottoman injustice, and the revolution started under the leadership of Sheikh Said.
The Turkish regime is well known by the World for murdering non Turkish origin for instance the Kurds, the Armenians, Greeks, Assyrians, and the Arabs. Millions of people murdered and genocide by the former Turkish dictator Kamal Ataturk for instance in 1915. All the nationalities in Anatolia were genocide by the Turks.

The infamous campaign in 1990, called “false flag” operations. This operation was backed by US and directly against the PKK and its people and its fighters, thousands of innocent Kurdish civilians were tortured, and many more were murdered by paramilitary forces and Turkish Forces. The Turkish Army masked themselves as PKK guerrillas and went to the Kurdish villages to torture and kill people, bombing, burning houses, crops and livestock, and then later on the PKK guerrillas were blamed. The secret soldiers committed crimes and violence and then the PKK members were blamed for ordering to create a chaos and distrust between the Kurds and the PKK members. The Turkish Army was supported by the US and the Turks were given training and advice to the state of Turkey for many years. In that campaign 3 to five million Kurds were exiled and moved by Turkish Forces. The Kurdish forests were set a light, and 3500 to 4000 villages, small towns were displaced and bombed in the Kurdish areas by Turkish Forces.

Turkish Governments have always been using armies within the State Terror of Turkey against the defenceless civilian population. Many times even a century ago Kurds had been gassed and in 1990 Kurds were genocide and currently still are. The Turkish government is ignoring the facts and the history, the city of Diyarbakir is one of the famous cities in Kurdistan of Turkey, South Kurdistan.
According to the Kurdish web site ekurd, a Turkish court in Diyarbakir imprisoned the previous editor of a Kurdish-language newspaper for 3 years, for spreading terrorist propaganda.

Vedat Kursun, he faces a joint sentence of 523 years in prison in 103 cases on related charges, was found guilty in relation with two stories that came out in the daily in August 2007, the state-run Anatolian news agency said.

Mr Kursun was editor-in-chief at Azadiya Welat until he was imprisoned more than a year ago for spreading propaganda on behalf of the illegal Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), Emin Yildirim, an editor at the newspaper, said. This newspaper’s has replaced its editor for 6 times since 2006, due to imprison of the editors or they fled Turkey to ignore the imprisonment.
Azadiya Welat, will face another ban by the Turkish Court. Even the European Union has called on the Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan to improve the freedom of speech and media in general but still it does not help much. This kind of racism against the freedom of journalists and media will never match the political criteria to grant Turkea membership European Union (EU).

According to the article published on website, the news published from Istanbul, within 3 days, the Istanbul High Criminal Court forced another publication forbid on the Kurdish Azadiya Welat newspaper on the bases of two articles and one obituary for a PKK member. One of the articles mentioned is entitled "Heroism week is the saga of freedom".

According to the news from the city of Hakkari which published on ekurd web site that the following Kurdish politicians from South-eastern region of Turkey, (Kurdistan of Turkey) Hakkari Mayor Fadıl Bedirhanoğlu, previous mayor Kazım Kurt and officials of closed Democratic Society Party (DTP) Fahri Kurt and Rahmi Temel stand trial for talking about their electorate in Kurdish in the run-up to the 2009 local elections. They were held trial on 31 March 2010. All four defendants, they face charges of opposing the Political Parties Law because they gave speeches in Kurdish in public meetings throughout their election promotions. The Turkish racist judges think that speaking in Kurdish; the mother tongue is a crime.
This is what the Kurds get from the Turkish State of Terror. Do these kinds of bans and harassing of our journalists and closing the doors in the face of Kurdish language and media publications, on different excuses mean anything to you or anyone that lives in the new century, or it tells you that the Turks are backward and still live in the Stone Century and use the methodology of their Dictator Kemal Ataturk.
