Kurdish Studies and Student Organisation launch new website!

June 2009 sees the re-launch of the Kurdish Studies and Student Organisation’s website, incorporating links to popular social networking sites.

The KSSO website has been re-launched with a fresh new design, providing richer content with images and videos, as well as links to follow KSSO on the popular social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

The new website also incorporates a Flickr account to publicly share photos from KSSO events. In addition, visitors can now subscribe to the KSSO RSS feed to receive regular updates about new developments. In the coming days KSSO will also launch a new YouTube channel to share videos from events.

Furthermore, as well as providing information and updates about all regular KSSO events, the new site has a Community section where visitors can post their own content. This can include, employment advertisements, academic publications, cultural and educational events, and so on.

Speaking about the new site, Janroj Keles the current chairperson of KSSO commented: 'I hope that the new site will bring together people from different backgrounds and create an academic environment in the context of Kurdish studies. From September onwards we will be hosting different intersectional seminars, cultural events and more open discussions, and we aim to use our new website to promote these activities more effectively’.
