Bombing of Innocents

I just wish to condemn those behind the bombings today in Kirkuk and Istanbul. We do not yet know conclusively who is behind these latest outrages but this form of attack upon innocent civilians is the mark of politically and morally bankrupt people who have lost the argument and resorted to indiscriminate violence. It is also cowardly and any such attacks, especially if carried out under the guise of a "religious" cause, defies everything I understand of Allah's teachings or basic humanity.
And, to whoever is behind these acts of mindless murder of innocents, I would ask them to consider just why the IRA turned their back on such tactics. They don't work and they just alienate people who might, otherwise, support whatever cause you promote. Hitler had not intended to attack British civilians because he knew it would have a negative effect on the German war effort but, after a German bombing raid on British airfields went wrong and affected civilians, Churchill order a huge reply strike on Berlin by the RAF to let the Fuhrer know there would be a price for directly attacking civilians. Hitler went mental (as he often did) and shifted the German bombing campaign from the British airfields to the cities. This allowed the RAF to build up its capacity so it could win the Battle of Britain in the skies. The Blitz simply united the British people and made America more sympathetic to the British cause. Bad move....
It may sound terribly idealistic but decent people from all races and countries should unite in condemning this form of attack and obliterate the people responsible for them.
A twelve year old kid died today in Istanbul and I don't know whether the kid was Turkish, Kurdish or whatever but that kid was no threat to anyone, had never contributed to the oppression of anyone, had never engaged in George Bush' "war against terror", and was totally innocent in God's eyes. Had that been my kid I would be tracking the people responsible down right now. What's it achieved? It has destroyed a family and enraged the international community. How to win friends and influence people? Bad move....
Enough is enough and everyone should condemn these attacks on human ethical and religious grounds (if they are believers). Civilians are not a legitimate direct target for any cause.
