Diyala Provincial Council Demands Brigade 34 to Stay

The Head of Diyala Provincial Council Ibrahim Bajilan said that, the council refuses to end the tasks of Brigade 34 of Peshmerga in the province. He pointed out that the Ministry of Defense was incapable to dispatch an alternative force last year.
"Brigade 34 came according to the decision of Diyala Provincial Council and the approval of the Prime Minister in order to protect the key highways", Bajilan added.
"Kurdistan Government dispatched this Brigade at the time when the Ministry of Defense failed to dispatch one detachment to Diyala province to participate in keeping security", he added
