Initially, I would like to express great gratitude on the concern of your evocative and well-timed letter. Your sincerity, truthfulness and profound sense of patriotism are truly praised and much appreciated. Like many of your compatriots, I share your views and declare my full support.
In my opinion, if your notable letter was put in writing in the form of a petition, it would have been more productive and effective. We could have forwarded it to a large number of congressmen, influential statesmen and officially to the White House.
It is the intellectual and moral responsibility of erudite people like you to come around and help raise wakefulness and awareness among your people.
Regrettably, spokespersons of various Kurdish political parties in Washington only are contemplating about advancing their particular interests and objectives in lieu of pursuing the true aspirations of the vast majority of their people. They have failed to remember the fact that their people sacrificed their lives for the sake of free will and their ultimate independence.
Of course, we have to be rational and realistic. In view of problematical status quo, our demands should also be practicable. But silence and often-times recanting these rights, has attained nothing meaningful for our nation.
Our people firmly advocate the notion of their national independence but they lack true and courageous leaders to steer them.
Again, it is very gratifying and pleasing to learn about honest people like you attempting hard for your people.
Yours Sincerely,
A supporter
